In plain english

Our courses and most of our content are free to use for your own learning. If you register for a sponsored webinar, that sponsor may follow up with you. Paid tickets follow the terms shown at checkout. You can share links to our content, but not copy or resell it. These Terms are governed by Tennessee law.

Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of testguild.com and all related services, including our free courses, webinars, podcast, conferences (including Automation Guild), and any products or events we sell (together, the “Services”), operated by Test Guild LLC (“TestGuild,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), 1061 Camp Austin Rd, Oakdale, TN 37829. By visiting the site, registering for a course or webinar, or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

We may update these Terms from time to time; see “Changes to These Terms” below for how updates take effect.

Who Can Use the Services

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to register for a course, webinar, conference, or purchase through TestGuild. If you create an account or registration profile, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

Free Courses

Most TestGuild courses at /training-courses/ are provided free of charge to learners. Many of these courses are made possible through sponsor support, and a course landing page may disclose the sponsoring company. Free access does not create any guarantee of outcomes, employment results, or certification value; course content is provided “as is” for educational purposes. We may add, remove, or change course content and availability at any time without notice.

Webinar Registrations

When you register for a webinar through /webinars/, you provide your name, email address, and any additional profile fields requested at signup. Registration information may be shared with the webinar’s hosting sponsor so they can follow up with you about their product or service, and this sharing is disclosed at the point of registration. Webinar sessions may be recorded, and by attending you consent to that recording being rebroadcast, published to the podcast feed, or made available on demand. We do not guarantee a specific attendance capacity or that any particular session will be recorded or archived.

Purchases

Some TestGuild offerings, such as Automation Guild conference tickets or certificates, require payment. When you make a purchase, you agree to pay the listed price at the time of order, and payment is processed through third-party payment processors; TestGuild does not store your raw card details on its own servers. Prices, event dates, and product availability may change, and any refund or cancellation terms will be stated on the specific product or checkout page at the time of purchase. If a paid event is postponed or cancelled by TestGuild, we will provide instructions for a refund, credit, or transfer as applicable to that event.

Intellectual Property

All content on testguild.com, including articles, podcast episodes and transcripts, course materials, webinar recordings, graphics, and the TestGuild and Automation Guild names and logos, is owned by Test Guild LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. Subject to these Terms, TestGuild grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use this content for your own personal, non-commercial learning purposes. You may not reproduce, redistribute, resell, or create derivative works from TestGuild content without our prior written permission, except for normal use such as sharing a link to a public page.

Content You Submit

If you submit content to TestGuild, for example a comment, a community post, a guest pitch, or a testimonial, you retain ownership of what you submit. By submitting it, you grant TestGuild a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, edit, publish, and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting the Services. You are responsible for making sure anything you submit is your own work, or that you have the right to share it, and that it does not infringe on anyone else’s rights.

Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. TestGuild does not guarantee that any course, webinar, certification path, or piece of content will produce specific career, hiring, or income outcomes. Links to third-party tools, sponsors, or websites are provided for convenience; TestGuild does not endorse and is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TestGuild and its officers, employees, and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid TestGuild, if any, for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time to reflect changes in our practices, our Services, or applicable law. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page shows when the Terms were last revised. Continued use of the Services after an update is posted means you accept the revised Terms. If a change is significant, we will make reasonable efforts to call attention to it, for example through a site notice or newsletter mention.

Relationship to Our Privacy Policy

These Terms work together with our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect through the site, newsletter, course and webinar registrations, and checkout, and how we use and protect it. If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy on a data-handling question, the Privacy Policy controls.

For more on how we handle data and content, see our Privacy Policy and the About page for background on who runs TestGuild. You can also browse our free courses, webinars, podcast, and Automation Guild conference.
