Does QuickTest Pro of LoadRunner Support HTML 5?

I've received a few emails over the past several months inquiring about if QuickTest Professional and LoadRunner support HTML 5.

Rather than answer each one individual, I thought it would be better to frame my replay in the form of a quick post.

So is HTML5 supported?

Yes:

LoadRunner does support HTML5 when using version 11.5 of the Ajax TruClient protocol.
QuickTest Pro should be able to handle most HTML 5 based applications. If for some reason you need support for a specific HTML 5 control HP recommends you enter an enhancement request.
