About Dr. Arash Rahnama

Dr. Arash Rahnama is head of Applied AI Research lead at Modzy where his team focuses on designing novel neural networks to detect data poisoning, developing robust neural networks to defend against adversarial attacks, domain adaptation and AI explainability. Dr. Arash has more than 12 years of research and professional experience in computer science and electrical engineering including publications and conference presentations with a focus on Mathematics and Optimization, Probability and Statistics, and Systems & Control. He has published research topics including theories for defending against adversarial attacks, encoding brain networks using unsupervised deep learning, and control and consensus of intelligent multi-agent systems. Dr. Arash received the Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering with the highest honor from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX, USA, in 2012, and the Master of Science degree in electrical engineering in 2014 from the University of Notre Dame. In 2018, Dr. Arash received his Ph.D in electrical engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
