About Surat Das
Surat started his automation journey in 2002 working with companies from start-up to Fortune 500 across various domains. Currently, he is an automation architect working in the San Francisco Bay area. He has experience in developing in-house automation framework based on open source tools. He advocates product experts (QA/BA) to write, execute and maintain their automated cases thereby reducing dependency on automation engineer to achieve automation goals for each team. He oversees automation engineers writing generic framework code, find solutions for automation challenges and build infra to support all teams. He also contributes to open source tools related to automation. He promotes automation in test, build, process or any task that can be automated.
