Job Requirements:
This is a contractor position. Hours will vary, but in general, I expect it would be around 10 hrs a week. Please let me know your compensation requirements.
Test Guild Operations Manager
- Strong knowledge of automation testing
- Understanding of other testing topics like security and performance
- Great attention to detail
- Finding and contacting qualified guests for my Automation, Security, and Performance Podcasts
- Proofreading existing speaker session transcripts
- Assisting with event aspects like topic and speaker selection, swag fulfillment, speaker onboarding
- Assisting with the overseeing of events on the day of, including problem-solving, welcoming virtual attendees, directing event setup, communicating with the team, and sponsors
- Answering Help Desk issues
- Moderating questions in Slido
- Ability to occasionally work during the Eastern Time Zone
- Ability to engage with the Test Guild Slack community posting polls, interesting posts, etc.
- Anticipating and planning for different scenarios
Nice to have but not mandatory:
- Occasionally hosting Podcasts
- Writing blog post articles
