The weekly Test Guild Friday meetups/mastermind have begun!
Just like our Test Guild Conferences, our meetups will be attendee led, meaning you tell me who and what you want to hear and what format you’d prefer for future meetups.
I love that Tricentis Flood said in one of their recent tweets that working from home shouldn't prevent you from meeting up virtually with your fellow testers and developers to chat all testing.
Great initiative from our friends – working from home shouldn't prevent us from meeting up to chat about testing! @SrPerf will be talking about performance testing vs. load testing on this first meetup. It's not too late to sign up! https://t.co/QDnazTASvv

I couldn't agree more, and that’s the main reason I’ve begun holding weekly Test Guild meetups.
This gathering of the Guild will occur every Friday at either 10 AM (ET) or 3 PM (ET), depending on when we can get a speaker.
I selected the day and time based on survey results filled out by our existing Guild members.
If you're interested in giving an informal presentation or screen share of a tip, tool, technique, or best practice around functional automation, security, DevOps, or performance testing, let me know.
Our first meetup guest was Leandro Melendez a/k/a/ Señor Performo, and he shared his rant on why Performance Testing is not Load Testing. The Guild also came together with some relevant questions for Leandro.
It was a great success, with over 545 folks registering and 140+ attending live.
I've annotated the video below so you can easily find the questions and answers you're most interested in; however, we recommend watching the whole event! :)
I hope to see you at the next meetup. Please let me know of any suggestions or constructive feedback you might have.
