When I started as a tester, there was little to no support out there to help me understand this field better. I just fell into testing. However, in this day and age, thanks to the testing community, it has allowed so many testers and engineers, in general, to gain testing knowledge.

But is that enough for new graduates looking for a job as a software tester? Or for an existing individual in the tech industry to switch to being a tester instead? We need more testers in projects for various positive reasons, and not to be thought of as, “do we really need a tester or a developer who can test it”?
