Finding the right testing tool from all the available automation testing tools is tough. I’ve interviewed over 200 testers and developers on my TestTalks and based on this treasure trove of test automation awesomeness; I created an Ultimate Testing Tools list. Since Publishing it, I’ve gotten a bunch of comments asking why Katalon Studio was not on the list. So I decided to create an episode all around Katalon Studio with automation testing expert Raghav Pal.
About Raghav Pal
Raghav Pal is an Automation Test Architect with over nine years of experience in Automation, Testing, Dev-ops, and CI. He is the founder and educator on YouTube channel – Automation Step by Step and author of the blogs: automationstepbystep and lifecharger.org
Raghav started as a JAVA developer initially, however, due to business needs in the organization he moved into testing, he tried his hands on manual testing for a short period before moving into automation testing. He was fascinated by this subject and was amazed to discover how using some tools and scripts, web application testing can be automated and save a lot of time and effort.
Raghav started with automation testing on front-end web applications and then moved into web services testing. During his journey, he also got an opportunity to work with libraries and tools like Selenium, SoapUI, JMeter, Jenkins, Postman, Git, Katalon Studio, Robot and other frameworks. Raghav soon felt a need and urge to hand-over and share my knowledge with everyone and that was how his YouTube channel Automation Step by Step was born. He gets motivated when these videos and sessions help people around the world, and they tell me about it.
Raghav is currently living in Chandigarh (India) and working with TestingXperts.
